01 / HOME INSTALLATION
After registering an account with WattsOn, we promptly send out our friendly installation team to your home address to install your monitoring devices. Users are allowed to decide how many rooms they would like to individually monitor.
02 / CLOUD STORAGE
Data from your in-home devices is then sent to our cloud-based storage system. Our services feature a secure relational database on Amazon Web Services.
03 / MOBILE APPLICATIONS
Finally, users can view their energy usage data in ergonomic and user-friendly graphical interfaces on both iOS and Android devices. This is also where users can create and edit accounts.

OUR STORY
This service was developed by James Madison University students enrolled in ISAT 306. The purpose of this product is to provide a medium which allows the everyday homeowner to track how much energy is being consumed in their house in real time. The user will be able to see exactly how much energy is being used in the house and what room(s) it is coming from, creating an effective way to know where to save costs.
